Tri-State Food Bank disbursed over 5.2 million pounds of food during our fiscal year 2009.  On average, 90 thousand plus, people seeking food assistance benefited each month from food Tri-State Food Bank provided to our member agencies.

 

We must continuously renew our supply of food to keep the shelves stocked.  In fact, a recent study revealed that we need to increase our supply of food by more than double to meet the increasing need in our community.

 

The majority of food is donated by the corporate food industry.  However, In order to maintain a diverse variety of food, individual donations and food drives are essential.
